Manilow Fanilow

My fun and adventurous brothers and sisters (okay, 5 of the 10) recently went on a road trip to Vegas to see Barry Manilow. The love of Manilow in our family goes back to the early 80's. Imagine a bunch of little red-heads with bowl haircuts (see footnote) dancing their hearts out to the Copacabana. Now imagine we have better haircuts. Everything else is pretty much the same. I couldn't make it this year but Fanilow Fever 2008 is already in the works.

footnotes: When we were little we all had haircuts that looked like my mom had put a bowl on top of our head and cut around it.

Melanee (the sister who got all the extra creative genes my mom forgot to give to me because she was next in line, and would put them to better use, and has always been a harder worker than me) is the creator of the "Fanilow Forever" t-shirts.

HAHAHAHAHA! I laughed out loud at this post...just remembering those hideous haircuts and the Manilow singing...its a miracle any of us had any friends outside of the family!
